I haven't watched that yet... I'm sure there are tons of other elf waifus out there, but those are the cream of the crop that I can remember... I love me some Zero no Tsukaima, I believe there's an elf there, but I can't remember what she did in the story.

Moments of Elda being self-aware enough of her own flaws, to list all the possible reasons Koito could have to be angry at her is what helps keeping her at a specific level of "lazy and whiny shut-in; but still likeable enough".

Yah, this anime has a lot of similarities to another which features a pseudo shut-in girl that loves lazing around. BUT, there is a clear difference in that two; Elda is kind hearted and appreciative of those that care for her. while the girl from the other anime(can't remember it's name) is selfish, unappreciative and kinda full of her self just because she knows she's pretty and cared for by her brother.

The word ‘’Redbull’’ has to be spoken at least once every episode huh >:p xD

I can see why Elda relates a lot to Princess Kaguya from The Tale Of The Bamboo Cutter.

I like the subtle hints of sorrow this show brings whenever something related to immortality is brought up. I wonder if she ever misses her homeland? But it's not so bad when she gets to play games, build plastic models and read manga all day. Entertainment has progressed greatly since Edo times.

It would be interesting to see a prequel of sorts during her time in Feudal Japan. The VA for Elda is wonderful.

I just hope most people aren't taking the lesson as "Immortality bad", as a mortal cope where that's what people default to.

Immortality isn't bad, what's bad is mortality. She's also isolated from her homeland away from her people, an Immortal among Mortals, Elf among Humans.

Of course she isn't going to take a taxi, Japanese taxis are some of the most expensive in the world. She needs those funds for more important things like games.
